KANBAN Board for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central gives you an optimal overview of the current work status of your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sales orders. The simple board is based on the Toyota Lean Kanban method and also helps you to quickly identify and solve any problems that arise. Sales orders are categorized and systematically arranged on movable cards in multiple lanes that correspond to the different stages of the “Order to Customer” process.

The process displayed by default includes the following steps and can be modified as needed: Sales Order > Picking > Packing > Delivery Note and Invoice > Order Shipment. In addition, you can use the paperless pick list without warehouse setup and post delivery bill and invoice directly from the app.

How does it work?

Additionally you can change colors and headers, change the order of the processes or even define your own processes e.g. add a transport or control process.

Status "Ready for Picking"

If a delivery date of an order is approaching and falls within the set time period, the order is displayed in the app. The employees "start" picking by moving the order to the next status using the arrow key.

Status "Picking in Progress"

In the next status, the virtual picking list can be opened. Here, the employees can check off how many parts they have packed or whether they have already finished packing the item. The data is stored in the app. Once the order has been picked, the employees can move it to the next status.

Status "Ready for Packaging"

Now the packing employee sees the new order in "his" column. He can now order the shipping company and enter the tracking number directly in the app. The number is transferred to Business Central.

Status "Packing in Progress"

Now he can start packing and move the order to the next column (using the arrow key). Once the order is packed, the delivery note and invoice can be reported directly to Business Central (by clicking on the check mark).
